OUR LOCAL TRY ON SERVICE
LOVE ME RENT ME is proud to one the top rental companies in NZ with currently over 750 dresses currently online. Our collection is thoughtfully chosen to cater for different fashion tastes and sizes. Part of our service is offering a try on service in our home in Dunedin.
We have over 45 hours of available time each week Monday - Sunday.
LOVE ME RENT ME’s boutique experience is a personal service designed to help you find the perfect rental. When you arrive to the dress room it will be set up with your size + dresses from the wish list you create when booking a time. We will also bring other options in that we think you might like. This service is friendly, fun and most girls will leave satisfied that they have found 1-3 perfect options.
We currently offer two try on time slots that can be booked via our booking calendar. Before booking this appointment we highly recommended reading how to create a Wishlist below to get the very best out of the experience of trying on.
Try on fees are deducted from a dress hire with us.
Our well known 60 minute appointment (for 1-2 people) with personal help from us. $30.00 Book Here
A 15 minute appointment (for 1 person) for 1-3 certain dresses. $10.00 Book Here
If you are wanting to come back to retry a dress or dresses from a previous appointment, this must be done by contacting us and booking over the phone. This allows us to make sure these dresses are here and that another try on fee is not charged. A retry appointment is 15 minutes long.
HOW TO CREATE A WISHLIST FOR A TRY ON
Start in the All Products section. Use the filter for size, occasion etc first before you browse. Then start adding options to your appointment by clicking the heart icon underneath. These favourites are automatically added to your wish list (heart icon next to cart at the top of our website) for your try on session with Love Me Rent Me. This can be viewed and changed at any time before saving and sending to us so that we can see your dresses to have ready. Please take time to create this list as it is important to start your session off. If this list is not supplied we will have to cancel the appointment.
If 2 girls are coming to the same appointment please create a dress wish list together. You can write any details about your individual size/fit in the notes when creating booking. This is always helpful for us.
Please read our Try On Information before booking.
- Bookings allow for only 1-2 girls trying on. Individual appointments are what we recommend. Please do not arrive with more than 2 trying on.
- Friends & family members are welcome to attend try-on bookings, to give you advice etc. but please no more than 3 helping, due to size of our dress room.
- Please do not visit if you have been in contact with a close contact with covid in the last 7 days.
- Do not come if you are unwell. No exceptions.
- Wipes are provided to freshen under arms before trying + hand sanitiser for hands. If possible please shower before attending try on.
- Please do not bring preschool children.
- Please be on time as we work on the hour.
- If your event is on the week of appointment you can take dress rental with you.
- Please supply a valid and reachable phone number in case we need to contact you.
- Please use the bathroom before visiting.
- You are welcome to bring your heels but these cannot be worn while trying on each dress because of damage this may cause. You can of course try on at the end with your favourite pieces.
